Research Paper Literacy Class Bee

Here is a research paper that Bee wrote for an advanced level doctoral class he took last semester. Notice that in advanced level research papers, literature review appears even earlier in the paper. The writer here summarizes the studies he found relevant to his own research. The first 7-8 pages of this research paper includes his introduction and some background information. From page 8, he starts to situate his own study and begins to tell his own "research story" (methodology, data collection, findings).

Welcome to ENG 202 Research Writing!

Dear class,

Welcome to the Research Writing class blog. This online space will provide you an opportunity to trace your writing and research experiences in this class. In addition to this class blog, each of you will be asked to create your own individual blog space to journal throughout this semester.

The class blog will be used for announcement, assignments, class power points and other materials that will help you progress as social researchers.

I look forward to meeting you all in person.

I wish you all a productive spring semester.

Dr.Seloni
